MANILA, Philippines — Visayas-based electronic cockfight gambling or e-sabong platform Sabong International PH (SI) has partnered with PayMaya to enhance the gaming experience of its players.

SI said the partnership allows its players to cash-in and withdraw funds from the platform using PayMaya as a payment channel.

“We are very happy to be part of the PayMaya ecosystem that is committed to unlock Filipinos’ digital life, whether it be for work or play. This signifies our effort to realize our goal of making the gaming experience on our online platform even more rewarding for our players,” SI chief financial officer Lambert Lopez said.

Apart from accessibility and convenience, the online gaming platform aims to expand its reach with the new partnership.

SI currently has over 50,000 active users all over the country, with the majority of its users in Visayas and Mindanao.

Since being officially licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. in June, SI has been doubling its efforts to gain more traction among players in other parts of the country.

“We at SI commit to delight, entertain, and empower our players. We will continue to look for innovative ways to make our players’ gaming experiences with us even more remarkable,” Lopez said.

PayMaya is the only end-to-end digital payments ecosystem enabler in the country with platforms and services that cut across consumers, merchants, communities, and the government.

With PayMaya now having over 41 million registered users, SI said the partnership would make the gaming platform more accessible and convenient to more Filipinos.

SI said players could use their PayMaya e-wallet to cash-in and play, and withdraw their winnings.
