Best practices in strategy execution
MANILA, Philippines — Having the right strategy is important to all businesses, but even a well-planned strategy won’t get you anywhere without effective execution. Research indicates that nine of 10 strategies are not executed properly as planned.
To help organizations convert strategies into effective results, the Center for Global Best Practices invites you to attend an online training entitled Best Practices in Strategy Execution to be held from 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28 via Zoom.
This will feature the ‘Strategy Execution Pyramid (SEP)‘ – a framework that was developed by a seasoned practice leader after years of establishing strategy execution systems in various local and international organizations.
The SEP, which builds on universal strategy execution systems, provides a simple, but comprehensive four-element model that is designed to link strategy formulation to operational execution. It is a practical approach that enables organizations to manage the execution of their strategies effectively by ensuring clarity, alignment, governance, and an enabling human capital base.
The SEC-accredited program will offer both practical and theoretical foundations that enable participants to succeed in their strategy execution initiatives.
This program will feature Jonathan Juan DC Moreno, whose expertise is on “creating, capturing and sustaining value” through developing sound strategies, as well as designing and implementing strategy execution systems in various organizations around Southeast Asia. He was formerly the principal and head of Southeast Asia of Palladium Group, the strategy execution consulting firm founded by “Balanced Scorecard” developers and Harvard gurus Robert Kaplan and David Norton. He served as consultant to the International Finance Corporation where engagements involved making IFC-invested companies “investor-ready” for either an IPO or the entry of strategic investor. He was president of Institute of Corporate Directors from 2010 and 2011.
Registration is open to the general public. A must for business owners, decision-makers, board directors, CEOs, COOs, GMs and members of the management team, CorPlan, key planning officers and consultants.
