MANILA, Philippines — Five-star hotels Sheraton Manila and Hilton Manila will begin accepting guests for staycations this month.
Sheraton Manila general manager Anna Vergara said the hotel would be opening its doors for staycation starting today and would be following protocols mandated by the government.
She said the hotel would make sure all guests coming into the hotel have negative results of antigen tests.
“People who would go for staycation and need antigen test do not need to worry about going or looking anywhere else to have that test done because we have a lab available here in the complex...So, it’s going to be a one-stop shop for anybody, for families trying to stay with us,” she said.
She said the results of the antigen test would be out in less than one hour.
Apart from ensuring the guests have negative antigen test results, she said the hotel would only be able to accommodate those coming from the National Capital Region and Calabarzon (Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon).
While the hotel can accommodate individuals of all ages, she said the hotel is restricted from accepting guests who are pregnant and those with co-morbidities.
For his part, Hilton Manila general manager Simon McGrath said they would also start accepting individuals for staycations on Nov. 27.
“We are on the same protocols in regards to where the guests can come from and the certain testing limitations that are existing,” he said.
He said the testing within Resorts World would provide peace of mind to guests and allow seamless stay.
With the fitness center opening around the same time, and restaurants already operational, he said there are many facilities available for guests to enjoy.
Both hotels are located within the Resorts World complex.
