TMP rolls out online service campaign checker
MANILA, Philippines — Leading automotive player Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. (TMP) is providing an online service campaign checker which customers can access to find out if their vehicles are affected by any recall.
TMP said by visiting https://toyota.com.ph/service-campaign and providing the vehicle identification number (VIN), customers can check if their cars are covered by any active service campaign.
Customers can find the VIN or chassis number which consists of 12 to 17 characters in any of the following: vehicle’s certificate of registration, warranty registration card, vehicle sales invoice and vehicle delivery note.
In case the vehicle is affected, the customer would be informed of the type of service campaign being undertaken and the suggested step to be taken.
TMP implements two types of service campaigns: a special service campaign to prevent safety related problems and the customer satisfaction campaign to avert other vehicle problems.
The special service campaign has no warranty claim limit period.
Meanwhile, the customer satisfaction campaign is available only for a specific period.
“Service campaigns are Toyota-initiated programs which call for inspection and repair of vehicles to prevent issues from occurring,” TMP said.
TMP said services done to the vehicles covered by the service campaign are performed at no cost to the customers.
