Vivant enters power retailing

Catherine Talavera - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Vivant Energy Corp. is looking to aggressively tap the retail electricity market to provide alternative power supply options for businesses and total energy solutions that help lower costs.

In a statement, the company said it is formally launching COREnergy this year.

COREnergy is set to offer a customized and end-to-end solution for business owners, from engineering to testing and due diligence. This enables businesses to focus on their core competencies, rather than worrying about their power needs.

“We recognize that the power industry is evolving. For business owners, this brings both an opportunity and a challenge,” Vivant Energy executive vice president and chief operating officer Emil Andre Garcia said.

“We adapted COREnergy’s approach to enable business owners to optimize their opportunities, and convert challenges into benefits,” he said.
