MANILA, Philippines — The Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) has decided to postpone its annual convention scheduled on March 13 in view of the government’s declaration of Code Red and state of public health emergency due to COVID-19.
In its email advisory to its member banks and convention exhibitors, CTB said that there is a need to avoid mass gatherings at this time, and that it is tentatively scheduling the convention toward end-June this year, but will assess the situation toward that time.
