MANILA, Philippines — UM, the global marketing and media agency network of IPG Mediabrands, has appointed Jam de Guzman as deputy managing director and chief growth officer of UM Philippines effective immediately.
In this newly created leadership role, De Guzman will be steering key client relationships while driving growth opportunities for the UM business across the Philippines. De Guzman will report to UM Philippines managing director Reena Francisco.

He will be a strong partner,” Francisco said.
De Guzman has 20 years industry experience, including a number of leadership roles in media agencies (including UM) where he was responsible for driving key account relationships and steering teams towards transformation and industry recognition. He is the incumbent vice president of the Media Specialists Association of the Philippines.
