MANILA, Philippines — Build and sell, if properly undertaken, is considered one of the most profitable businesses in real estate. For those with medium capital, it is a very attractive investment alternative that many investors, financiers and would-be-developers are very keen to go into this business. However, they are kept at bay because of lack of complete knowledge of its mechanics and techniques. Meanwhile, their money, placed in bank deposits, earns very low interest income.
Other investors who are more daring and went on but armed only with partial and incomplete knowledge suffered some sad experiences and are now afraid to do it again.
To be able to fill in the detailed and extensive educational need of all would-be and starting developers and investors desiring to go into the popular business of build and sell, the Urban Institute of Real Estate will conduct an 18-week mentoring course on build and sell starting on Jan. 25, 2020, from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Asian Institute of Management Conference Center, Makati City.
This mentoring course consists of 18 lecture sessions and seven group activities which includes among others visits to proposed and ongoing construction site and completed projects.
Main lecturer is Enrico Cruz, an engineer who has more than 40 years in real estate, engineering, construction, management and education.
Cruz is also a licensed real estate consultant and placed first and eighth in the real estate appraiser’s and broker’s board examinations, respectively. He was invested as a Real Estate Fellow and Diplomate in Real Estate Management by the Philippine Council of Real Estate Educators Inc.
