Dongfeng opens first dealership in Cainta

MANILA, Philippines — The official distributor of commercial vehicles under the Chinese brand Dongfeng in the Philippines has opened its first dealership in Cainta in Rizal.

In a statement, Pilipinas Autogroup Inc. (PAI) said its first dealership for Dongfeng commercial vehicles located along Ortigas Avenue Extension in Cainta, opened last Thursday.

The dealership will cater to customers looking for light to heavy commercial vehicles.

PAI’s Dongfeng dealership will carry commercial vehicles including four-wheeler, six-wheeler,  and 10-wheeler cargo trucks, mini bus, tractor heads, dump trucks, and cement mixers.

With the opening of its first dealership in Cainta, PAI seeks to take advantage of the opportunities in the market, particularly demand for commercial vehicles in a growing economy.

“The Philippines is in a state of rapid development. Developing nations need a lot of transport and logistics to move its economy forward and it is here where the Dongfeng vehicles can greatly contribute to your business and the economy, “ PAI chairman David Coyukiat said.

He said PAI intends to open more outlets.

“PAI is committed to establish more Dongfeng dealerships in the coming months in order to serve vehicle and after-sales needs of its customers,” he said.

Founded in 1969, Dongfeng Motor Corp. is among China’s largest automotive groups.

Today, Dongfeng has a become a global brand, ranking 67 out of the Fortune 500 list.

With Dongfeng’s tie-ups with European and Japanese automotive brands, Dongfeng commercial vehicles are backed by extensive research and development and manufactured with state-of-the art processes.
