MANILA, Philippines — A relatively new local hotel chain has been steadily making waves in the hospitality sector, not only for its trendy design, value-for-money rates and excellent service, but also the effective leadership of its 31-year old founder and president.
Just five years into the business, Privato Hotel Group’s runaway success was achieved with the careful guidance and leadership of Ateneo graduate Gab Perez, who oversaw the construction of two hotels from the ground up.
Privato hotels are located in Ortigas across Capitol Commons, in Quezon City and soon, in Makati.
Since they are located in business districts, Privato hotels’ main clients are either corporate accounts or business travelers, but there are many staycationers too – all of whom enjoy the well-designed spaces, reasonable rates and great service.
To actualize his vision and goals for Privato, the millennial hotelier collaborated with “the best in the industry.” Perez has tapped Casas+Architects, Jose Aliling Construction Management and Enderun Hotels for the design, construction management and day-to-day operations of the hotels.
Perez believes this balance between accessibility and topnotch service is where Privato shines the brightest. “Our sweet spot is that we serve champagne for the price of beer,” he says. With Perez at the helm, Privato is realizing its huge potential and carving its territory in the competitive hospitality industry.
