Great opportunity for Philippines, Thailand to network at STYLE Bangkok Fair

(As released) Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Thailand is now ready to hold the STYLE Bangkok Trade Fair from October 17 to 21, 2019 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok. 

The key goal is to provide a comprehensive one-stop shopping service for lifestyle products for both customers and entrepreneurs. Participants from more than 70 countries are expected to attend the fair. Opportunities are knocking on the doors for foreign business owners who wish to showcase their products and services. 

During the 34th ASEAN Summit recently held in Bangkok, President Rodrigo Duterte met with Thai business owners, as well as members of the Federation of Thai Industries and Thai Chambers of Commerce. Duterte assured the Philippines will do everything to promote foreign investments to prove that the country is among the best destinations to do business with. 

DITP said they believe that the October 2019 STYLE Bangkok Trade Fair will be a great opportunity for business owners of the Philippines and Thailand. The fair will also serve as a platform for exchange of business ideas and networking circle among entrepreneurs. 

Participants could link up their businesses through personal contacts and/or using the business match-up service provided at the fair. The ultimate goal is to establish collaboration and long-term business opportunities between the two countries, as well as extend cooperation with other countries in the Asian region. Record from the April Lifestyle Bangkok Fair showed the top 5 attending countries were Taiwan, China, Japan, USA and Singapore. 

For the past three years, DITP found that participants were from various business sectors, which include hospitality industry, real estate, furniture and home décor, fashion industry, among others. Participants may meet major exporters, SMEs entrepreneurs and designers that can provide their business needs.
