Globe beefs up WiFi in Tuguegarao

MANILA, Philippines — Globe Business, the enterprise information and communications technology (ICT) arm of Globe Telecom, has entered into a strategic partnership with the city government of Tuguegarao to provide fast and reliable internet service.

Tuguegarao City signed up for Globe Business’ Direct Internet which allows the local government unit to offer its constituents fast and reliable internet access supported by a robust and broad international and domestic network.

“Globe Business is thrilled and privileged to have been chosen by the City of Tuguegarao. We are very excited for the partnership as this pushes us to strive for excellence and commit to our purpose to help build our nation,” Globe Business senior vice president Peter Maquera said.

“Aside from the need to have fast and reliable internet connectivity to effectively cater to the communication needs of all offices in the City Hall, the project also aims to extend its reach to public schools, specifically the students and teachers,” Tuguegarao City Mayor Jefferson Soriano said.

 Globe Business’ Direct Internet allows enterprises to maintain a direct and secure connection between offices for data, voice, and video application needs.

It also offers a level of support to make sure that clients get secure and dedicated connectivity.
