MANILA, Philippines—The Manila International Airport Authority announced that some local and international flights are cancelled due to the bad weather caused by Typhoon “Rosita” (International name: Yutu).
According to the MIAA, flights of carriers Air China, Xiamen Air Philippine Airlines Express, Cebu Pacific, Ceb Go and Sky Jet were grounded.
Earlier, the Department of Tourism Region 2 earlier warned strongly recommended tourists or travelers to postpone non-essential travel to Northern Luzon until the typhoon exits Northern Philippines.
Some flights affected are headed to northern provinces such a , Ilocos Norte, Cagayan, Isabela, and Batanes, among others.
