MANILA, Philippines — The Manila International Airport Authority on Monday announced that budget carriers grounded some of their flights due to the inclement weather.
In its advisory, the MIAA said airlines CebGo and Skyjet canceled its domestic flights headed to and from Basco, Batanes. These flights are supposed to depart Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 4.
The suspension of flights came as the country continued to experience monsoon rains.
