MANILA, Philippines — Ayala-led Globe Telecom has tied up with DMCI Homes to provide convenience in bringing high-speed internet connection to new condominium owners of the property developer.
Globe said new condominium owners of DMCI Homes have the option to apply for Globe At Home’s exclusive broadband plan during the turnover of their units.
The new collaboration between two industry leaders is aimed at making Globe At Home subscription applications easier.
“When you think about it, you want the basic necessities in life, such as water and electricity, ready when you move into your new home. The same thing is now the case with internet – it has become a utility that homeowners need,” said Michelle Marie Fernandez-Castillo, director of business development and GTM, broadband business of Globe.
Globe said individuals and families who are about to move into their new homes are often very busy that they may not have the time to drop by an internet provider’s store to apply for a subscription.
“Globe At Home understands this struggle and has found a way to make things more convenient for their customers together with their new partner, DMCI Homes,” it said.
“It’s important for owners nowadays to have an internet connection at home so we thought of making it available once they move into their units. And it’s possible now that we have partnered with Globe,” said Jan Venturanza, assistant vice president for marketing, customer care and corporate planning of DMCI Homes.
The exclusive plan will be available for DMCI Homes projects, namely The Birchwood and Ivory Wood in Taguig City, Asteria Residences in Parañaque City, and Lumiere Residences and Sheridan Towers in Pasig City.
