PayMaya now accepted at Auntie Anne’s stores

MANILA, Philippines — Customers of soft pretzel chain  Auntie Anne’s can now make Quick Response (QR) payments for their orders following a partnership forged with PayMaya Philippines Inc.

PayMaya said QR payments are now accepted at Auntie Anne’s 49 branches nationwide.

“As we celebrate our 30th year, we are looking forward to more innovations like this that will help revolutionize the experience of our customers in-store,” said Mikkel Paris, chief operating officer and managing director at Pretiolas Philippines Inc., the master franchise holder of Auntie Anne’s in the Philippines said. 

“With PayMaya QR, convenience, safety, and speed of transactions are baked into the overall payment experience, so that customers can enjoy their favorite Auntie Anne’s treats instantly and conveniently, without the need for cash or coins,” PayMaya president and chief executive officer Orlando Vea said.

With QR payments, customers are able to conveniently pay for their purchases through the PayMaya app on their smartphones.

PayMaya serves as PLDT Inc.’s digital financial services arm. 

To make payments through PayMaya QR in Auntie Anne’s stores, account holders will have to scan the QR code displayed at the counter on their smartphones.
