MANILA, Philippines — Hong Kong Airlines will start operating daily flights between Hong Kong and Manila in June to provide more options to travelers to connect to the Hong Kong International Airport.
In a statement, Hong Kong Airlines said the new service would be available beginning June 1.
Flight HX781 will leave Hong Kong at 9:10 p.m. and arrive in Manila at 11 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flight HX781 will depart Hong Kong at 9:30 p.m. and will be in Manila at 11 p.m.
Flight HX782, meanwhile, will leave Manila at 6:55 a.m. and land in Hong Kong at 8:55 a.m. daily.

The schedule also allows passengers to easily transfer to connecting flights to popular destinations such as Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, Vancouver in Canada, as well as to US destinations including Los Angeles and San Francisco.
For the new service, Hong Kong Airlines will use an Airbus A320 in a single configuration with 174 seats in the economy class.
“Demand for flights between the Philippines and Hong Kong has been growing steadily, and we are pleased to offer customers more travel options than before. Our entry into a new market marks an exciting milestone for us, and we look forward to developing this even further,” said Michael Ma, director of commercial at Hong Kong Airlines.
