Black Arrow Express inks deal with M. Lhuillier

Iris Gonzales - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Black Arrow Express, the last mile company of Fiipino-owned AAI Group of Companies, has inked an agreement with M. Lhuillier, further expanding its network.

The agreement allows consumers to access Black Arrow’s logistics services via M. Lhullier’s more than 2,000 branches nationwide. Customers can drop off their packages and book them for shipment in any of the ML branches.

Black Arrow president Allan Brizuela said that aside from providing additional convenience to customers, the latest partnership would enable small businesses to also ride the e-commerce wave.

“This would ensure quick and timely delivery of their products to their customers,” he said.

M. Lhullier is a national pawnshop network, which has expanded to provide financial and remittance services nationwide.

Black Arrow provides first mile to last mile logistics solutions through its national network of hubs. It includes but is not limited to retail and courier express delivery services.  It also serves as delivery and distribution for institutional marketers to consumers as well as retail express delivery for individuals with special emphasis in technology-based logistics solutions for e-commerce fulfillment.

It is targeting to have at least 1,200 couriers or riders by the end of the year from 700.

The company is a member of the AAI Group of Companies, a network of corporations that collectively offer the full range of logistics solutions from large size and volume shipments, storage and handling, all the way to retail express delivery covering the Philippine archipelago.

From its founding as Airlift Asia Inc., AAI has grown as a total logistics organization with logistics services and operations provision covering five grams to 5,000 tons.

Its main base is in the AAI Freight Management Center in Metro Manila and has facilities for warehousing, distribution hubs and equipment nationwide.
