LBC pushes expansion
MANILA, Philippines - LBC Express Holdings Inc. plans to continue expanding its network to support the company’s already widespread operations, its president said.
“We will continue to augment our already widespread network, and get closer to the communities outside of the cities. We will also be rolling out more complementary services related to supply chain, which will bolster and complement our existing line of products and services,” LBC president Miguel Angel Camahort said.
Camahort said the company is on track to becoming the access and delivery solutions provider of choice by 2020.
“We wanted to do this by ensuring that we have the professional and technological capacity to serve Filipino families and businesses through a well-rounded customer experience. 2016 reveals the fruits of our efforts to continuously improve our company’s margins, earnings, cash flows and returns, simultaneous with consistently improving its operations and customer service, and overall customer experience,” he said.
During the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting, officials reported a net income of P212 million in the second quarter of the year, slightly up from P210 million a year ago.
Gross revenues increased 18.5 percent for the quarter ending in June 2017 to P2.45 billion from P2.07 billion in the same period last year.
This brought year-to-date total gross revenues to P4.91 billion, an 18.74 percent increase from the previous year’s P4.13 billion for the same period.
Officials said these results highlight aspects such as brand heritage, impeccable customer service, technological capacity and improvement, evolving online and mobile offerings, leveraging on the brand’s expansive global network to drive speed, and responsiveness to customer demands and efficiency—all of which bolster the trust and credibility behind LBC.
