MANILA, Philippines - The Shareholders’ Association of the Philippines (SharePHIL) will hold its 4th summit with the theme “Creating and Sustaining Value through Principled Corporate Stewardship” on Thursday, Aug. 31 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mayuree Ballroom, Dusit Thani Manila, Ayala Center, Makati City.
This year’s summit keynote speakers are no less than the dynamic and influential brother-tandem of Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala (JAZA) and Fernando Zobel de Ayala (FZA). JAZA will talk about the overall Ayala Group corporate governance framework which has been the bedrock of the group’s corporate stewardship principle highlighting and focusing on the concept of a clear family constitution and leadership succession plan, while FZA will talk about how they operationalize these corporate governance and stewardship principles at the subsidiary level while striving to achieve synergies among the group’s companies.
The panelists, all high-powered and well-respected, include: Francis Estrada, board chair of the Institute of Corporate Directors; Jose Ma. Lim, president and CEO of the Metro Pacific Investments Corp.; and Hans Sicat, ING Bank N.V.’s Philippines country head and former president and CEO of the Philippine Stock Exchange.
The moderator for the panel discussion is Cathy Yang, anchor-managing editor of the ABS-CBN News Channel.
