Thai beauty brand enters Phl market
MANILA, Philippines - A Thailand-based make-up brand has entered the Philippine market and is looking to open eight branches this year, driven by the similar market demographics of the two countries.
On Tuesday, Beauty Buffet, one of the make-up brands of Beauty Community Public Co. Ltd., opened its first Philippine branch at Ayala Malls The30th in Pasig City.
The 37- square meter store is the first among the eight Beauty Buffet branches set to open in the Philippines this year.
“We already have a lot of malls lined up for Beauty Buffet. We’re opening eight stores this year,” Beauty Buffet Philippines co-owner Nicole Nolasco said.
Beauty Buffet’s Philippine stores will operate under a franchise agreement with LimNolasco Beauty Trading Corp.
The other locations include Vertis North in Quezon city, Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City, Landmark in Trinoma and Makati and Eastwood in Quezon City.
Nolasco noted that the biggest store would be located at the Uptown mall measuring 65-sqm, which is targeted for opening in June.
