MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Stock Exchange is holding its annual fun run on Jan. 10, 2016 in line with efforts to promote physical and financial health.
“We would like our investors and the general public to kick off 2016 by giving importance to their physical and financial health. We hope that participants of the PSE Bull Run will benefit from a good run and develop interest in stock investing,” said PSE president and CEO Hans Sicat.
Interested participants may register in any of the following: 21-kilometer challenge, 16K Trial, 10K race, and 5K dash.
Aside from these categories, runners can participate in the 21K team category competition, which will be open to groups with a minimum of 10 paying runners.
All registered runners will receive race packets that include the singlet, timing chip and race bib.
All 5K, 10K, 16K, and 21K runners will receive finishers’ shirts on race day, while those who successfully finish the 16K and 21K categories will also get medals on race day.
Aside from individual awards, a biggest delegation award will also be given. To qualify for the biggest delegation award, groups should be represented by a minimum of 25 runners.
On race day, the PSE will also have a booth where Bull Run participants can sign up for its free Stock Market 101 seminar.
Those who want to join may register at the PSE Library, 27/F Tower One and Exchange Plaza, Ayala Triangle in Makati City.
For the event, the PSE has partnered with BPI Trade, PSE Foundation, and San Miguel Corp., Ayala Corp., First Metro Investment Corp., and Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc.
Other partners include ALFM Mutual Funds, City Mall, COL Financial Group, Inc., Discovery World Corp., Double Dragon Properties Corp., Manila Electric Co., Puregold Price Club, RUNNR, and Sun Life.
