Manulife launches new investment-linked insurance with low entry fee

MANILA, Philippines – Insurance provider Manulife Philippines has recently launched the Affluence Builder Plus, an investment-linked insurance product that has low entry fees but with the earning potential of long-term investments. 

"Clients are looking for investment-linked products," Manulife Philippines president and Chief Executive Officer Ryan Charland said in a press briefing. "Through Affluence Builder Plus, clients can make premium payments over a five- to 10-year period, and at an amount and frequency they are comfortable with.”

The Affluence Builder Plus allows the policy holder to kickstart his or her investment journey early. By paying the low entry fee in full within the first year, the policyholder is ensured that he or she is fully invested in the second year.

The product also offers more flexibility as clients can choose to pay smaller amounts with a longer pay period or larger amounts over a more flexible time. It also includes protection benefits that financially cover policyholders in case of accidental death or disability.
