Crown Asia Chemicals inks supply deal with property giants

MANILA, Philippines - Crown Asia Chemicals Corp., a publicly listed manufacturer of plastic compounds, has bagged supply contracts from property giants Ayala Land Inc. and Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc.

The contract with ALI involves the property firm’s new developments such as the Sunrise Paradigm in Pasig and the Bonifacio Stopover in Taguig. These  two projects comprise malls and office buildings.

The contract with Vista Land, on the other hand, is for Star Malls in Bataan, Bulacan, Las Pinas and Laguna.

The company would be supplying the pipe requirements of the two property giants for their respective projects.

Just recently, Crown Asia secured contracts to supply pipes to a number of public-private partnership (PPP) projects such as the Ninoy Aquino Expressway Phases 1 and 2 and six housing projects of the National Housing Authority.

At present, the company is also supplying pipes needed for the construction of the  UST Hospital as well as to several Ace Medical Hospital Facilities in Quezon City, Valenzuela City and Pateros, Rizal and soon in Iloilo.

Crown Asia supplied pipes to the Medical City in Iloilo and Unihealth Hospitals in Paranaque and Binan, Laguna.

Aside from PPP and property projects, the firm supplies pipes to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, an open-air museum and heritage park located in Bagac, Bataan.

“We are proud to be part of a cultural project as ambitious as the Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. It shows that aside from being a preferred brand because of our proven product quality, Crown Pipes is also establishing its versatility in wider applications. We will continue to update our other project inroads,” said Derrick Villanueva, general manager of Crown Asia’s Pipe Division.

Villanueva said the company is poised for further growth next year as it continues to expand its operations.

Crown Asia currently manufactures PVC compounds for applications in wires and cables, IC tubings, bottles and films.
