Sun Life bags award as Employer of the Year

MANILA, Philippines - Sun Life Financial Philippines has been bestowed the prestigious Employer of the Year (EOY) Award for its exemplary leadership and people-management practices.

The EOY Award is handed out annually by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) to the company that excels in the areas of leadership, strategic human resources focus, continuous improvement programs, business results, and social responsibility.

The PMAP panel, which is composed of renowned HR practitioners, business executives, and civil servants, conducts a rigid judging process which includes on-site visits, interviews, and deliberations. Out of the many companies that submit nominations, only one winner is chosen every year.

Sun Life is the first insurance company to be honored with the EOY Award since its inception 38 years ago.
