Costa del Hamilo issues rejoinder on published ad in October 2 STAR issue
MANILA, Philippines - A Notice to the Public came out of the newspaper (this morning) whereby a certain Maria De Joya-Dikit, et al claimed they have interest over a certain portion of Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club and that they have been awarded Emancipation Patents (EPs) over said property.
Please be advised the EPs allegedly issued in the names of Maria De Joya-Dikit, et al have not yet been registered with the Registry of Deeds of Nasugbu, Batangas. The DAR has rendered a legal opinion the existence of a valid and subsisting Conversion Order over the property being claimed by Ms. Dikit, et al constitutes a legal impediment for the registration of the said EPs.
Moreover, the DARAB has already dismissed the petition filed by Ms. Dikit against Costa del Hamilo Inc. and the DAR to have their EPs transmitted with the Registry of Deeds of Nasugbu for registration.
