MANILA, Philippines - Botanika Nature Residences by Filinvest Alabang Inc. will compete with other luxury condominium developments in key Asian capitals for the “Best Luxury Condo Development” category in the 5th annual South East Asia Property Awards grand finals to be held in October in Singapore.
The upscale, three-tower project in the rapidly-growing Filinvest City was a winner in its category at the Philippines Property Awards 2015 in July and will be the Philippine entry to the Southeast Asia competition under the same category. It will compete with other top-end residential condominium developments in Bangkok, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar.
A collaboration among Leandro V. Locsin Partners, foreign masterplanning consultant Architecture International and global landscape consultant AECOM, Botanika was designed to offer the efficiency and security of condominium living combined with the luxury of the soothing, green spaces of a nature sanctuary.
In fact, the project’s design, construction and delivery processes adhere to the Philippine Green Building Council guidelines. Botanika is a registered project with the BERDE certification system, used to measure, verify, and monitor the environmental performance of buildings to ensure they exceed existing mandatory regulations and standards.
Open space and abundant natural lighting are key features of each of Botanika’s three towers. Every building is focused on an open-air, landscaped atrium beginning at the ground floor and rising all the way to the top thus forcing air through the structure and keeping it naturally cool. In addition to being a source of natural light, each of the atriums will also heighten one’s sense of arrival at the ground floor lobby. Each atrium will have a unique landscape theme.
Every Botanika resident will have the unmatched option to enjoy nature’s healing properties in any of these settings. Moreover, the three atriums will be connected by meandering walkways and are part of a garden system that also includes a tiered swimming pool and a central garden space with an amphitheatre on one end and children’s treehouses at the other end.
All these distinctive details emphasize the “the high caliber work within the Asian real estate industry,” which the Asia Property Awards aim to highlight, according to its website. The awards encompass architecture, interior design and construction. Projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangkok, the Philippines and other countries that are part of the competition “offer some of the world’s most innovative and interesting property developments.”
Rising beside the Palms Country Club in Filinvest City, Botanika Nature Residences already has half of its first tower committed to buyers attesting to the high quality of the development, according to Catherine Ilagan, executive vice-president of Filinvest Alabang Inc.
Botanika is Filinvest’s first project to carry the Exclusive Collection brand, the group’s highest-end category offering well thought-out, limited edition residential spaces. She explains: “Each project with the Exclusive Collection brand is envisioned to be an iconic, top-end and one-of-a-kind residential space that will add prestige to the group’s large-scale projects,” according to Ilagan.
