LBC offers money back guarantee for Europe-based Filipino clients
MANILA, Philippines - LBC Express Inc., the country’s largest cargo and logistics firm, is offering a money back guarantee for its Filipino customers in Europe.
“We’re confident that we take care of all the packages that go through us. But we’re taking extra steps to help ensure the safety and security of boxes that are being shipped and moved by the company. This program shows how committed we are to our security procedures,” LBC senior vice president for retail operations Rene Fuentes said.
With more than 10 million Filipinos abroad, Fuentes said many of them need a trusted courier service they can rely on to send their parcels, packages, and money back home.
Through the newly-launched security guarantee program, LBC promises a refund on service fees paid plus coverage for any missing items based on the declared items in the packing list and inventory form.
To avail of the program, LBC said boxes must comply with a security checklist that ensures boxes are not oversized or bulging, box contents are properly declared in the packing list and inventory form, and that security tapes and seal are applied on the boxes.
“If these requirements are met and the box is pilfered, the customer gets their money back. As tempting as this offer may sound, we know that what the customer really wants is for their packages to get to their loved ones safely. So it’s equally important for the customer to properly pack their boxes,” Fuentes said.
“We understand that we are the link between the overseas Filipino and their loved ones back home, and that bolsters our desire to create an even better user experience for all our customers. But cargo delivery is a two-way process and our customers must also comply with regulation to ensure the safety of their packages,” he added.
For all boxes which qualify in the security guarantee program, LBC assures resolution of complaints and claims related to the security of boxes within 24 hours from the time the complaint was submitted.
The program is valid for both air and sea cargo, the company said.
LBC was founded in the 1950’s as a brokerage and air cargo agent and has now become the largest express courier, cargo, and money remittance service firm in the Philippines.
