Virtual career fair set this month

MANILA, Philippines - Over 11 million jobless Filipinos may access employment opportunities through Monster.com, a virtual career fair to be held from Feb. 23 to 27.

Sanjay Modi, managing director of Monster.com, said the virtual fair would bring together employers and professionals in search of new job opportunities.

“The Monster.com Philippines Virtual Career Fair 2015 is an efficient and exciting way for local job seekers to push their profiles to companies on the hunt for top talent – and they don’t even need to leave home to be interviewed,” said Modi.

Companies participating in the upcoming Virtual Career Fair (VCF) include a range of business process outsourcing (BPO), Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Service (ITES) businesses, and more, according to Monster.com.

During the virtual fair, students and other job seekers would be able to interact with employers and recruiters over Skype to find out more about available jobs during the event.
