MANILA, Philippines - The peso moved sideways against the dollar midday Wednesday, settling at 44.935 from the previous day's 44.95.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $245.7 million in the morning, higher than $213.1 million posted the same period on Tuesday.
The peso opened Wednesday at 44.95.
