MAILBOX: Maynilad to lay pipes in Cavite, not in Cainta

This is in reference to the article published in The Philippine Star last Sept. 9, 2014 entitled “Maynilad allots P133 M for new pipes in Cainta”.

We would like to clarify that the Maynilad pipe-laying project mentioned in the article will be implemented in Bacoor, Cavite-not in Cainta, as stated in the article’s headline.

 Please note that Cainta, Rizal, is not a part of Maynilad’s service area. Our company is the agent and contractor of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) for the West Zone of the Greater Manila Area, which is composed of the cities of Manila (certain portions), Quezon City (certain portions), Makati (west of South Super Highway), Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas and Malabon, all in Metro Manila; the cities of Cavite, Bacoor and Imus, and the towns of Kawit, Noveleta and Rosario, all in Cavite province.
