MANILA, Philippines - The peso moved sideways against the dollar on Thursday, closing at 43.62 from the previous day's 43.6.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $839.5 million, lower than the $977.1 million posted on Wednesday.
The peso opened Thursday at 43.57.
