GE Industrial launches new circuit breaker line

MANILA, Philippines - GE’s heritage electrical distribution business, Industrial Solutions, is delivering advanced technologies that span across all aspects of power infrastructure. GE Industrial Solutions recently launched its new line of circuit breakers designed to efficiently distribute power throughout electrical systems for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

Showcased during the launch was the GE EntelliGuard™ G power circuit breaker, equipped with the latest technology for system safety, reliability, measurement, relaying and communications. This new product is designed to provide users with years of safe and reliable service by combining a long life span in mechanical and electrical operation mode with high interrupting capacity to provide selectivity and reduce hazards.

As a complement to the newly introduced EntelliGuard G, envelope T power circuit breaker, GE Industrial Solutions has developed an app that allows intuitive monitoring of settings and real-time data on the designated circuit breaker unit. Monitoring is done wirelessly through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth® transmitters, bringing convenience and added safety for field engineers, installers and other users who wish to be informed of the unit’s performance without having to be physically in front of the equipment. This feature sets GE’s EntelliGuard G power circuit breaker apart from other units in the market with enhanced safety for the people and property using the circuit.

GE Industrial Solutions Philippines partnered with KC Industrial Corporation as a co-sponsor for the event to launch the new products in the country. Among the new products also featured during the launch were Record C moulded case circuit breaker, KG line breakers, both designed with Philippines market in mind; and, M-Pact air circuit breakers, SecoVac vacuum circuit breakers, and WaveCast transformers. All of which are ideally suited to the specific needs of builders’ in various industries.
