CEO Forum to tackle current issues

MANILA, Philippines - The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines  will mount a comprehensive seminar dubbed ‘CEO & CSCO forum 2014’ on Sept. 4 at Santan Room of Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. Speakers include: Dr. Enrico Basilio, chief of party, Advancing Phil. Competitiveness project, (‘Phil. Economy & Infrastructure’);  Guillermo Luz, National Competitiveness Council, private sector co-chairman (Phl Declining In The World Bank Logistics Performance Index); and Enrique Castillo, SCMAP past president (Addressing the New Challenges in Supply Chain). There will also be panel discussion on issues such as truck ban, port congestion, lack of infrastructure, policy inconsistencies and ill-timed regulation.  Expected panelists are officials from Department of Interior & Local Government, Metro Manila Development Authority, Land Transportation Office, Department of Trade & Industry, Phil Ports Authority,  Department Of Transportation & Communication, Department of Public Works & Highways and Aduana Business Club.
