Bingo Milyonaryo targets P250-M sales
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) is targeting P250 million in sales from its new numbers game Bingo Milyonaryo by yearend.
‘We are right on track. Our reinvigorated marketing initiatives will double our sales from P34 million as of June 2014 to P60 million by the end of August 2014. This is the basis of our forecast“, said Roberto B. Suarez, general manager of COMNET Management Corp., the service provider of Bingo Milyonaryo.
Suarez said the expected sales growth will be driven by the active operations of territorial dealers, as shown by the marked improvement in the sales of Zamboanga del Sur, Negros Occidental, Davao del Norte, Rizal, Laguna, Bulacan and Metro Manila.
He said since its operations last year, Bingo Milyonaryo has produced over 3,000 winners of at least P20 million total cash prizes including two jackpot winnings of P 300,000.
Suarez added that Bingo Milyonaryo is employing modern technology capitalizing on telecommunications network and active mobile applications. As such, this provides the gaming public real time gaming results, transparency and audit trails.
He said LottoCell, the Bingo Milyonaryo totalizator platform, “is an idea which time has come,” as it has revolutionized the dynamics and landscapes of the numbers game.
“Despite the birth pains and other constraints, Bingo Milyonaryo will spare no efforts to contribute significantly to the coffers of PCSO so that the agency can maximize its mandate to help the poor. To this we are strongly committed.” Suarez added.
Suarez was appointed COMNET general manager last June 16. He has over 20 years of experience in banking, information and communication technology (ICT) and ICT outsourcing.
