MANILA, Philippines - Aspiring chefs can observe first-hand a day in the life of an executive chef by participating in a contest under the auspices of Le Cordon Bleu, the internationally-renowned network of educational institutions dedicated to providing the highest level of culinary and hospitality instructions through world-class programs. The Paris-based Le Cordon Bleu has tied up with International Education Specialists (Inter-Ed), the premiere student placement organization in the Philippines, in conducting the competition that offers the winner the grand prize of spending a day at the workplace with an executive chef of a five-star hotel in Metro Manila. To join the contest, dubbed “A Day In The Life Of An Executive Chef,” all a participant has to do is answer three questions found at the Inter-Ed website (http://www.inter-ed.com/le-cordon-bleu-contest), with the six best entries to be named as finalists. The six contestants with the best answers shall subsequently be featured in a televised panel interview, after which the winner shall be proclaimed. As an added feature of the contest, the participants who shall decide to enroll in any of the Le Cordon Bleu campuses throughout the world (Australia, Canada, France, Thailand and the United Kingdom) shall be entitled to the privilege of having the costs of their student visas and air fares shouldered by Le Cordon Bleu. Participants can also get the chance to win exciting and exclusive Le Cordon Bleu merchandise as consolation prizes. The contests is open to everybody with an interest and passion to be a chef and ends on Oct. 3, 2014. For inquiries, call Inter-Ed at 819-1001 or 0917-5351956 or visit its website www.inter-ed.com.
