Peso dips on Monday

MANILA, Philippines - The peso dipped against the dollar on Monday, closing at 43.51 from the previous day's 43.465.

Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $657.9 million, lower than the $849 million posted on Friday.

The peso opened the week at 43.5.
