MANILA, Philippines - The peso capped the week 12 centavos stronger than the dollar, closing at 43.75 from the previous day's 43.87.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $680.75 million, higher than the $616.5 million posted on Thursday.
The peso opened Friday at 43.87.
