MANILA, Philippines (Xinhua) - Shares closed 0.36 percent lower today.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index lost 24.23 points to 6,784.95. The all-share index also declined by 11.82 points, or 0.29 percent, to 4,064.19.
Trading volume reached 1.84 billion shares worth P7.76 billion ($177.41 million).
There were 57 gainers, 121 losers while 41 stocks closed flat.
