The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - ExpressPay Inc. sealed recently a partnership with TransFast, the third largest remittance company in the world. By agreeing to be the payout partner of TransFast, money sent from abroad can now be redeemed in any of ExpressPay’s branches in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao within a few minutes.

The official contract signing ceremony was held at ExpressPay’s head office in San Juan City and was attended by ExpressPay chairman Anson Uy; president Allen Mascenon; finance director Jenny Lo; business relationship manager Charles Mascenon; sales manager Paula Hermosa; and TransFast head of Asia Pacific treasury and network development Jon Velasquez; director of network development, Anne Ditchon; head of sales Raquel Aquino; marketing manager Joemel Dela Cruz; and manager of network development Rudson Aquino.

ExpressPay is regarded as one of the country’s fastest growing network of franchised pay centers with over 600 franchised branches nationwide offering convenient community-based services such as money transfer, bills payments, prepaid loads, travel and tours, courier, and XP marketplace.

“We are delighted to partner with TransFast Worldwide Money Transfer which supports our commitment to continuously expand our services to our customers. Overseas Filipino workers  (OFWs) are among the biggest groups in the world that regularly remit money to their loved ones and our tie-up with TransFast means those remittances can now be paid out through our branches,” Mascenon said.

As the third-largest remittance company in the world with headquarters in New York and offices in North America, Latin America, Europe, India, and in the Philippines, among others, TransFast is always on the lookout for companies with tremendous growth potential.

Currently, TransFast operates in 108 countries around the world.

â€œOur philosophy is to have the fastest and most reliable remittance service. We believe that through this partnership, we will be even more capable of delivering topnotch service,” Velasquez added.

TransFast joins ExpressPay’s growing list of money transfers alongside I-Remit, Smart Padala, LBC Txt Remit, and M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala. ExpressPay also offers remittance options such as the door-to-door cash delivery, credit to bank accounts, and Visa cash cards.
