MANILA, Philippines - The peso capped the week by rallying against the dollar, closing at 43.65 from the previous day's 44.19.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $1.036 billion, higher than the $599.5 million posted on Thursday.
The peso opened Friday at 43.9.
