MANILA, Philippines - Former Agriculture Secretary Dr. William D. Dar (5th from left) leads the unveiling of a logo of ‘Inanglupa,’ a social movement which he founded, during its launch and media briefing last April 10, at the DA-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM), in Quezon City. Inanglupa advocates for an inclusive, science-based, climate-resilient and market-oriented Philippine agriculture by the year 2020 and beyond. Dar is serving his third and last five-year term as Director General of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), based in India.
