MANILA, Philippines - Duty Free Philippines, the country’s premier travel retailer, is giving balikbayans the opportunity to get more value for their money this month by unveiling promotional schemes and opening new boutiques in its Fiesta Mall in Paraňaque City.
Lorenzo “Enchong†C. Formoso, Duty Free Philippines COO, said they expect arrivals of foreign-based Filipinos to pick up considerably this month due to the long holidays during the Holy Week and the summer vacation.
“Bringing gifts or pasalubong to our loved ones has been part of our tradition. This is why we decided to come up with various promos and added new brands to Duty Free Philippines. We want to give our balikbayans more choices for their shopping and also add value to their hard-earned money by giving discounts,†Formoso emphasized.
From April 1 to 30, Formoso said Duty Free Fiesta Mall is offering up to 50-percent discount on select fashion brands.
Duty Free Philippines’ Fiesta Mall offers top of the line fashion brands such as Dunhill and Ferragamo and popular brands which include Guess, Lacoste and The Body Shop. Recently, its fashion category opened boutiques of Victoria’s Secret, French luxury brand Chloe, the popular American brand Kiehls and the world-renowned brand Coach.
It also houses staple duty free merchandise by world renowned brands such as Johnny Walker, Chivas, Hennessy, Ballantines and Remy Martin for liquor; Hershey’s, Cadburry, M&Ms, Toblerone and Nestle for chocolates; Christian Dior, Lancome, Giorgio Armani, and Bulgari to name a few for cosmetics and perfumes.
