Phl pushed as shopping destination

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines is an ideal shopping destination for tourists and foreign guests.

After enjoying our world-class beaches and resorts, festivals, visiting centuries-old churches, historical and cultural landmarks, feasting their eyes on beautiful sceneries and natural attractions, tourists and foreign guests can enjoy shopping in our big malls in many parts of the country.

The Philippines boasts of world-class products and goods such as furniture and tropical fruits. Philippine-made furniture is exported in many countries.

Local and foreign buyers looking for furniture and other local products can visit Greenhills Shopping Complex during the 21st National Furniture, Furnishing & Fashion Festival being held back to back with the 10th Philippine Folk Arts & Crafts Festival until April 4.

The 25-day show organized by Prime Asia Trade Planners & Convention Organizers (Patepco) is showcasing products such as modern & contemporary furniture & furnishing, Philippine arts and crafts, precious & semi precious stones, antique furnishing & accessories, foods & delicacies, RTWs (Ready to wear), novelty items, tribal arts, ornamental & orchids, cellphone & repair, and bags and shoes.

Henry G. Babiera, Patepco president/CEO and considered the tiangge king, invites local and foreign shoppers to visit Greenhills.

Babiera says the trade fair with about 2000 stall holders are showcasing their high quality products and goods in the tiangge sold at much lower prices.
