MANILA, Philippines - Direct selling nutritional firm USANA Philippines expects its revenues to post double-digit growth this year from about P2 billion in  2013 as it launches a new product and introduces upgrades to other supplements.

USANA Health Sciences, Inc. chief executive officer Dave Wentz  said in a press conference yesterday he expects revenues from the Philippine market to post double-digit growth this year.

“We look forward to continued growth in the Philippines,” he said.

The firm is expanding its product line in the country with the launch of USANIMALS, its first multivitamin and minerals product for children aged two to 12 years old.

Aside from the launch of USANIMALS, USANA is also introducing upgrades to its other products.

The firm’s flagship product Essentials, is now available with an improved formulation in smaller and more affordable packaging called Mini-Essentials.

USANA’s upgraded dietary food supplement Nutrimeal would be available beginning next month.

The gluten-free Nutrimeal would allow individuals to achieve ideal cholesterol levels, better digestion and increased energy levels.

In the coming years, Wentz said the company would want to see its business to continue to grow.

“The business is designed to provide financial opportunity to people and pass it to future generation, along with having good health,” he said.
