Ikebana marks 47th year

MANILA, Philippines - Ikebana International Manila Chapter 108 celebrates its 47th anniversary at Shangri-la (East Wing, 2nd Floor, Grand Atrium) Mandaluyong City on March 7-9, with an exhibition of floral arrangements created by its members.

The theme “Projects of investing in our environment” will showcase the use of recycled materials and containers combined with native flowers, branches and leaves.

Opening ceremonies on March 7 will be by invitation only.

On March 8 and 9, from 1:30 – 6:30 p.m., certified Ikebana teachers will give free lecture demonstrations.

The public is cordially invited.
