MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) on Tuesday shed 5.11 points or 0.09 percent to close at 5,935.56.
The broader all shares index similarly dipped with a 7.32-point or 0.2-percent finish at 3,621.25.
Subindices were mixed, with the mining and oil, property and holding firms in the green. Financials, industrial and services posted losses, on the other hand.
Biggest gainers included Anglo Philippines Holdings Corp., Trans-Asia Oil and Energy Development Corp., while Roxas and Company, Inc., Megaworld Corp. Warrants 1 and Top Frontier Investments Inc. posted the biggest losses.
Total volume amounted to 1.426 billion valued at P7.195 billion.
Decliners outpaced advancers 92 to 73, while 32 issues stayed the same.
