Natural Gas Summit set

MANILA, Philippines - Government and Industry will meet for a policy and business dialogue, the Natural Gas Summit,  on March 12 and 13 at the New World Hotel in Makati to discuss the legal and economic frameworks that could unlock the gates to let in huge investments for the development of a natural gas industry in the Philippines. The summit’s theme is Driving Growth in the Philippines, a Policy and Business Dialogue on Liquid National Gas and Natural Gas. It is being organized by Leverage International (Consultants), Inc., in coordination with the DOE. The event website is http://naturalgas.leverageinternational.com. Energy Secretary Carlos Jericho Petilla will present “Government’s Plans for the Future” during the summit. Ambassadors of the major country players in the global natural gas market will likewise make statements. Subject coverage of the 2014 summit includes: The Genesis of Natural Gas in the Philippines, Challenges and Risks in the Natural Gas Business, Global and Regional Outlook for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Legal Framework for the Natural Gas Business, Southeast Asian Perspectives, and Building LNG and NG Infrastructures.
