MANILA, Philippines - The peso capped the week with a slip against the dollar, closing at 44.71, weaker than Thursday's 44.68.
Total volume traded amounted to $820.7 million, higher than the previous day's $668.4 million.
The peso's slide comes ahead of the anticipated release of the United States job data.
