MANILA, Philippines - Jose Antonio Sacluti becomes the general manager of Amélie Hotel Manila when it opens in the first quarter of 2014. Sacluti brings with him several years of experience in the hospitality industry, under Paramount Hotels & Facilities Management Co. Inc. —the management company that will oversee the operation, and plan the sales and marketing initiatives of Amélie Hotel Manila. The Paramount management team forms the core of Microtel Inns & Suites (Pilipinas), Inc., Philippine master franchisor of the Microtel by Wyndham brand.
Prior to joining Paramount Hotels, Sacluti has gained immeasurable knowledge and expertise in hotel operations by working at such exceptional hotel brands as Heritage Hotel Manila, Hotel Diva in San Francisco, St. Gregory Hotel and The River Inn Hotel both in Washington, DC.
The conceptual framework of Amélie Hotel Manila—bringing to life the bohemian spirit of old Malate through contemporary design elements and forms of art—requires the creativity of a judicious and skilled hotelier as Mr. Sacluti.
“Amélie Hotel Manila is unique in the sense that it will combine the verve and spirit of old Malate in a modern setting. We are able to achieve that by infusing a bohemian, yet contemporary style in interior design, decor and furnishings. We will have special niches where modern artists can showcase their latest and most remarkable works. We will even feature the fresh, young and groundbreaking music from independent and underground artists to give our guests a sampling of the new consciousness art thriving in Manila today,†he said.
Sacluti said service will remain rooted to the time-honored traditions of Filipino hospitality and the highest international hotel standards. “We are training our staff in the highest standards of hospitality, so guests at Amélie Hotel Manila can expect a service that is professional and efficient—infused with genuine warmth and sincerity that we Filipinos are famous for. That is going to be the trademark service of Amélie Hotel Manila.â€
